Tell us about yourself. What’s your story? #
I grew up in the Seattle area and I attended the University of Washington where I earned a degree in economics. One constant during my education, and now my career, is my passion for problem-solving. I hate being bored. For me, having opportunities to challenge myself and learn is essential.
What’s your role at Flexe? #
I am a Logistics Manager. Put simply, my role is to make things happen and to make processes more efficient along the way. On some days, I’ll work directly with our product team to lead a user acceptance testing (UAT) session on a new feature. On other days, I’ll work on reorganizing a client’s national fulfillment network. After that, I might put together a presentation and fly to a client’s office to go over metrics and plan for next quarter’s growth.
Why did you choose to work at Flexe? #
Flexe is redefining the warehouse industry and paving a new path for companies’ logistics strategies. I saw this as an opportunity to challenge myself with dynamic problems to solve and new ideas to create. My first year at Flexe was easily my most experience-rich year at any company that I’ve been a part of during my career. It is clear to me that I made the right choice.

What makes being on your team at Flexe great? #
Members of our team come from so many different backgrounds and have such a diverse skillset that I’m constantly learning and teaching. At Flexe, we’re competitive, but we don’t work against each other. We help each other grow and become better as a whole.
Where do you find inspiration? #
100% thinking about what my wife and I want for our future. We have always inspired each other to grow personally and professionally. When we met, I was in the process of dropping out of law school and she was working retail. Since then, we’ve both made incredible strides together. She helps me be the best version of myself.
When you’re not working, where do we find you? #
Outside of work, I like to go to concerts with my wife and our friends, run (I finished my first half marathon in 2018 and have been going ever since— 1:49:09), go to baseball games, or figure out where I want to travel next.

What organizations are important to you and why? #
You can’t live in Seattle without having some kind of connection to the environment and the outdoors. Since I was in middle school, I’ve volunteered at a number of organizations including EarthCorps, Washington Trails Association, and The Nature Conservancy. I’ve worked on restoring trails, parks, and habitats for species native to different regions in Washington. This is extremely important as the population in our region continues to increase and we continue to urbanize. Maintaining a healthy balance of development with conservation will ensure that people can enjoy the natural beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer for generations to come.
If you had your own personal warehouse and could fill it with any one thing, what would it be? #
Key Lime La Croix.
