Francis Duong

Co-Founder & CTO

Francis has deep experience as a software engineer and a successful track record as an entrepreneur. Prior to co-founding FLEXE, Francis started and built Ignition Mobile, a Y-Combinator backed mobile analytics company, leading it to a successful exit in 2011. Earlier in his career, Francis spent several years at Microsoft as a Developer for Windows and a PM for Xbox.

Karl Siebrecht

Co-Founder & CEO

Karl is a seasoned technology executive, with leadership experience in both startups and large, global corporations. Prior to co-founding FLEXE, Karl was CEO of AdReady, a Seattle-based advertising technology company. He is also a founding Board member of EnergySavvy, a SaaS-based solution for energy efficiency management. Previously, Karl was President of Atlas at aQuantive, before its $6B acquisition by Microsoft, and earlier in his career he was a Manager at Bain & Company in Boston and a Diving Officer in the US Navy.

Edmond Yue

Co-Founder & COO

Edmond is an accomplished software engineer and entrepreneur with FLEXE being the third company that he has built with Francis. Edmond was Co-Founder and CTO of Ignition Mobile, a Y-Combinator backed mobile analytics company, leading it to a successful exit in 2011. No stranger to the Cloud, Edmond spent 5+ years as a software engineer on the founding teams of Microsoft Windows Azure and AWS.

Bob Spieth

Advisor

Bob Spieth has a long, distinguished career in Supply Chain and Logistics. He is the Executive Vice President, Customer and Business Services for QVC. Bob leads the Customer and Business Services operations for both QVC and zulily. He first joined zulily in February 2013 as Chief Operating Officer where he expanded zulily’s Supply Chain, Customer Service and Studio Operations capabilities, and built a strong leadership team and innovative technology to drive service improvements and efficiencies.

Prior to zulily, Bob spent 14 years at OHL, one of the world’s largest third-party logistics companies, where he served as the President of Contract Logistics, as well as CIO and Senior Vice President of Operations.

Dr. Dale Rogers

Advisor

Dale Rogers is a Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University. He is also the Leader in Supply Chain Finance, Sustainability, and Reverse Logistics Practices for ILOS – Instituto de Logística e Supply Chain in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2012 he became the first academic to receive the International Warehouse and Logistics Association (IWLA) Distinguished Service Award in its 120-year history.

Dr. Rogers has been a consultant to several companies including Kenco Logistics, Hewlett-Packard, Coca-Cola IBM, Russell Athletic, Flextronics, FedEx, UPS, Menlo Logistics, Genco Logistics, Sun Microsystems, Advanced Micro Devices, Mitchell & Ness, Kmart, Maersk Logistics, Handspring, Unisys Corporation, Lean Logistics CHEP and several others.

Neil Ackerman is the Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Advanced Planning and Innovation, for Johnson and Johnson across all segments including Pharmaceuticals, Biomedical Devices and Consumer Products. He is responsible for accelerating supply chain innovation and enablement of advanced planning processes and technologies worldwide. His team is critical in bringing value based prototyping to life within Johnson and Johnson and beyond.

Prior to this role, Neil held various positions at Amazon.com, including Strategy Head for Fulfillment By Amazon and the General Manager and Inventor of the Amazon Small and Light global program. Most recently, he was the Global Director of Integrated Supply Chain, eCommerce strategy and technology innovation at Mondelez International, one of the world’s largest snack companies with brands such as Oreo, Milka, Cadbury’s and Nabisco.
